Research Technician
Description
We are looking for a talented Research Technician to join our team specializing in hydrogen fuel cell power systems technology for our # NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Performs preventative maintenance of the fuel cell and the electrolyzer test stations.
Monitors the operation of test stations and resolve electrical and/or mechanical issues with the stations.
Fabrication of lab scale membrane electrode assembly.
Responsible for assembling the test cell and loading the test cell.
Coordinates with SMEs from R&D and production teams.
Provide creative solutions for the testing related problems.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Minimum two-year college degree in relevant technical disciplines is required
Ability to read schematics and P&ID, to diagnose mechanical and plumbing issues and resolve them.
Experience in working with electrical equipment and control software.
Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical assemblies.
