MEA Production Manager
Description
We are looking for a talented MEA Production Manager to join our team specializing in sales for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Provides manufacturing leadership for small or medium size plant, shift or department. Manages multiple shifts of an assembly line, fabrication or machining operation.
Provides manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Communicates with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.
Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.
Manages, coaches, and develops staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.
Mechanically inclined with problem solvingskills
Experiences in Equipment Maintenance TPM(scheduling PM and AM, spare parts etc)
Develop and maintain operational KPI’s(productivity, quality, waste reduction, safety, downtime)
Oversee materials and inventory management
Experience with ERP and MES systems preferred
Roll to Roll Converting, Lamination or Coatingexperience is added advantage
Background in high volume manufacturing process
Establish tools, rules and process for linemanagers and operators for high quality manufacturing
Experience in polymer material handling will beadded advantage
