Electronics Designer – Fuel Cell Rail
We are looking for a talented Electronics Designer to join our team specializing in fuel cell railing for our # NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Design and develop complex hybrid systems, using a multidisciplinary approach – this will involve broad engineering expertise; including mechanical, electrical, systems, software, and process design.
Design custom control electronics and software for the control and monitoring of fuel cell systems, electrolyzer systems, battery systems, hydrogen storage systems, and other systems as needed.
Printed circuit board design: schematic, layout and component sourcing
Support component level, sub-system and system level sourcing and testing for performance, reliability and durability.
Hardware and software trouble shooting designing electronics from the ground up
Develop validation test methods and protocols
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Master’s preferred
Must have experience designing printed circuit boards and managing the bill of materials (>2 years experience)
Must have experience working with printed circuit board manufacturers supporting the manufacturing process (>2 years experience)
Must have experience working with test equipment and validating electronics designs using oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, power supplies, etc
Must have experience validating electronics sensors and components
